My first day at an airsoft game, I arrived at bravo site on a snowy day. The first person that I met was Dracx, and he quickly began briefing me on how things run. We moved to staging, and we had a small group that day, so they did a school yard pick. It just happened that I got picked by tan, and ended up rolling with Shadow Pack. I didn't expect airsoft to give me such a rush, or to see so much friendship and teamwork. There I was, chomping at the bit for the week to go by so that I could play again. I don't know if I looked like a lost dog, but shadow pack invited me to play with them again, and after a few weeks Bearclaw ask me to join the team. I began rearranging my life and schedule to fit my new obsession.
I began training and had the opportunity to go through it with Gringo. We quickly formed a bond and I began to learn what teamwork is all about. The thing that I love the most about Shadow Pack is, we're all so different, and all of us have different skill sets. So far, that's made us one hell of a squad.
Not all of us are runners, not all of us are leaders, and not all of us are shooters, but all of us are dedicated to growing and supporting each other both on and off the field. A never quit attitude and knowing that my team relies on me to get the tough things done gives me great pride.
