I started playing Airsoft in April of 2008, brought into it by Bearclaw. After a month or so, we brought in Wolf, and decided that we wanted more from this sport. We wanted to be known for our tactics, perseverance, and training. So, we formed Shadow Pack, a team built for big Ops and Skirmishes; using pick up games as weekly practice, to develop and perfect our tactics. We pushed ourselves beyond exhaustion and pain on the field, and we wanted the same from every member we brought onto the team. After attending Bulldog III, we knew that we had what it took, to build the team we desired.
In the beginning, I used my speed and stealth on the field, to complete objectives in the position of Spec Ops on the team. As a sole operator on the field, I completed the missions given to me, on my own. Our team continued to grow, and the Ops got bigger, we began to find that we a needed to develop a fire team for Spec Ops missions to be completed. I took Gringo under my wing, and taught him what I knew, and began to mold him into the player that I had become. This was the very beginning of Sierra Squad.
As time went on, Shadow Pack always at the forefront of the fight, the tip of the spear head, cutting into the opposition; the need arose for a tightly knit, highly trained, and extremely fast, “Quick Response Force”, within our own team. The QRF had to be the leading force of our squad, “First there, First to Kill”, and with the addition of Petro, Sierra Squad was formed. We always complete the objectives given to us, we are always out in front, of all teams, at the Ops, to engage the enemy, ascertain the situation, and report back. I never ask anything of my men, that I wouldn’t and haven’t done myself. In fact, I always try to push myself; farther than they could ever imagine pushing themselves. Leading by example, my men see what I put myself through to get things done, and they do the same. As an effective fire team, we push ourselves farther than other Airsofters, to complete the impossible. No matter how difficult, regardless of the odds against us, we get the job done.
