WARNORD - OP: Wargames 2010

W.O.P.E.R and R.I.P.L.E.Y. face off again in a 2 day event. After the fierce battle between W.O.P.E.R. and R.I.P.L.E.Y. in the summer of 2009, R.I.P.L.E.Y. is still on the hunt to find W.O.P.E.R. which has one again lead it to Colorado. R.I.P.L.E.Y. is dispatching a large force to destroy W.O.P.E.R. Will W.O.P.E.R.'s forces be ready?
When: May 8th and 9th
Where: 30 Minutes East of Denver, CO.
Cost: $80.00
Participant Limit: 200

Requirements & Expectations

Membership Requirements:

  • Minimum 18 years old
  • 4 week probation period completion and majority acceptance vote by team
  • 2 OP minimum attendance per calendar year (OP’s are defined as  100+ player events such as BoUSAM\Lion Claws Events, ColoMilsim\ Sudden Strike, etc.)
  • 50% attendance weekly games, Mini Op’s, skirmishes, etc. per calendar year ( yes, we do keep track)
  • 75% team training attendance  per calendar year (again, we do keep track)
    *Please note attendance records are kept for sponsorship requirements

Member & Prospect Expectations:

  • Call your hits – All the time, no exceptions. We do not tolerate cheating, period.
  • Always operate in a professional manner  verbally and physically at all times on and off field
  • Promote and educate safety at all times on and off the field.
  • Act courteously and assist when possible new players, existing teams, etc.
  • Uphold and follow all USA Airsoft rules and regulations as well as Shadow Pack rules and regulations.

Team Gear Requirements:

  • Have your own primary and secondary weapons (talk with a CO if this is a problem)
  • Midcap Magazines and Bio Ammo. (Midcaps are required at all OP’s and the majority of skirmishes as well as bio-degradable ammo)
  • Camelbak is mandatory
  • Gear and load out are not mandatory but highly recommended. (Vest, utility belt, etc. are all player choice in style and color.  We only ask that you think about the affect a color choice may have on your Multicam®)

Knowledge and Physical Requirements:

  • You are expected to keep yourself in shape to keep up with the physical demands that are required of players in OP’s. Talk to a CO if you need more info on what this entails or what to expect in terms of physical demand.
  • Team Field Manual. You are expected to know it as it contains all of our formations, tactics  and various elements of team play and cohesion. No exceptions.
  • Phonetic Alphabet - You will be provide with a copy, learn it, know it and love it.
  • Radio Phrases.  We operate with an SOI.  You will be expected to know radio phrases so you understand orders, chain of command and eliminate the threat of radio warfare and scanning. 

Prospect Period:

  • Prospect period is a 4 week period.  
  • During your 4 week period you can wear any clothing you wish.
  • Attendance is mandatory ALL 4 weeks unless prior arrangements have been made with a CO.
  • Expect a full training day with Shadow Pack only. Formations, tactics and various drills will be gone over to bring prospects up to speed and evaluate your ability to work with the team.
  • A minor amount of PT is involved. While we are not PT focused do expect some during your prospect period.

After completion and majority vote of acceptance your call sign, SOI, radio phrases, phonetic alphabet, team patches and forum access will be issued to you with your full team membership.

Main Uniform pattern is Multicam®, ACU is secondary pattern.  Head cover type is player choice. (Boonie, Ballcap, Bandana, etc.) Shirt and pants must be of the velcro type (for patches and a uniform look among the team, ask if you are unsure what this means)
